The personal data are:
a) processed legally, fairly and transparently towards the person concerned (legality, fairness and transparency);
b) collected for specific, explicit and legitimate purposes and are not subsequently processed in a manner incompatible with these purposes; subsequent processing for archiving purposes in the public interest, for scientific or historical research purposes or for statistical purposes is not considered incompatible with the initial purposes, in accordance with Article 89 paragraph (1) (limitations related to the purpose);
c) adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are processed (minimizing data);
d) accurate and, if necessary, to be updated; all necessary measures must be taken to ensure that personal data that are inaccurate, considering the purposes for which they are processed, are deleted or rectified without delay (accuracy);
e) kept in a form that allows the identification of the persons concerned for a period that does not exceed the period necessary to fulfill the purposes for which the data are processed; personal data may be stored for longer periods to the extent that they will be processed exclusively for archiving purposes in the public interest, for scientific or historical research purposes or for statistical purposes, in accordance with Article 89 paragraph (1), subject to the implementation of the appropriate technical and organizational measures provided for in this regulation in order to guarantee the rights and freedoms of the data subject (limitations related to storage);
f) processed in a way that ensures adequate security of personal data, including protection against unauthorized or illegal processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage, by taking appropriate technical or organizational measures (integrity and confidentiality).
